11th April marked the beginning of an exciting learning journey for the National Sports Dentistry Committee (NSDC). It was a day filled with knowledge sharing, collaboration, and growing awareness about the integration of Sports Science and Oral Health. We successfully conducted an Online Ambassador Program exclusively for NSDC Life Members, with dentists joining from across the country — strengthening our growing national network.

This was followed by a highly engaging webinar on Sports Nutrition, Precision Nutrition & Oral Health, which received an overwhelming response from all corners of India. Nutrition expert and Dietician Gauri Murthy explained about Sports Supplements and Sports Drinks and Rupali Shevade, Nutritionist, Lifestyle coach and Precision Nutrition expert highlighted the upcoming topic of DNA based nutrition. Participants included coaches, parents, athletes, sports professionals, and dentists, clearly highlighting that Sports Dentistry is truly multidisciplinary and relevant across the entire sports ecosystem. Many more such interesting webinars will be taken throughout the year.
