18th December 2024 – Awareness CDE Program taken at Sinhagad Dental College

The program at Sinhagad Dental College and Hospital, Pune happened to be an interesting one wherein dentists had gathered in large numbers – right from young interns, PGs, staff and HODs and staff of other dental colleges in Pune. Dr Riddhi who is Treasurer, NSDC and also works in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Sinhagad Dental College was instrumental in conducting a smooth flow of the program. The program began with Dr Sneha Divekar’s lecture on “Sports Dentistry – an upcoming field in Athlete Health Care”. This was followed by felicitation program at the hands of the Principal of Sinhagad Dental College Dr. Sameer Patil. After this, a Demonstration on Mouthguards was carried out by Dr Sneha Divekar in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. The audience was excited to know more about Sports Dentistry and had a lot of queries on mouthguards. Dr Aditya helped in taking photos and distribution of the NSDC pamphlets among the dentists. The NSDC EC team informed the young audience in detail about NSDC and encouraged them to become members of NSDC and be a part of the growing community of sports dentists.
