Athlete Dental Care Activities in 2024 by the EC Team

The EC Team members conducted various small scale events in different parts of Pune from December 2023 to December 2024. They conducted events with other organizations like Swanand Yatra who focus on holistic development of children – for example one huge dental screening event at MMCOE Karve nagar, another awareness session and dental screening camp at an event during sports summer camp activities, Sports Entrepreneur’s Foundation event wherein Dr. Sneha distributed Oral care kits to athletes as prizes for the winners of the sports competitions and many such small scale events. The team distributed information pamphlets to the athletes regarding dental care and dental injury management. It’s interesting to note that so many people are interested in sports dentistry. Dr Pooja Wadhwa from Noida immediately took the membership after attending our Inaugural program in December 2023 and without further wasting any time conducted a dental care awareness program for athletes in a school in her area. Her efforts are really commendable. We need enthusiastic people like her to be a part of us.
