Women’s Day 2026 was a moment of pride and recognition for the National Sports Dentistry Committee (NSDC). On 8th March, Dr. Sneha Divekar, Director – NSDC, was invited as a Chief Guest / Guest of Honour at two prestigious sports academies in Pune — JK’s Excellence Chess Academy and AK Sports (Cricket Academy).

Dr. Sneha was felicitated for her remarkable achievements as a leading woman in the field of Sports Dentistry, contributing towards the integration of oral health within sports sciences and athlete care. She also had the honour of conducting the prize distribution ceremonies, celebrating the hard work, dedication, and achievements of young athletes across both events. It was truly a special moment where the efforts of both — healthcare professionals and athletes — were recognized and celebrated on the same platform. NSDC is proud to see such inspiring milestones that continue to strengthen the role of Sports Dentistry in athlete performance and well-being.
