Post the conference, NSDC had an overwhelming response for membership wherein, we reached the mark of 100 members – annual + life + honorary members!! That is why, we had an interesting Online Ambassador Program on 11^th October, wherein all the members were charged up and interested in knowing how to work as an NSDC Ambassador. They were taught about basic fundamentals of sports dentistry and guided as to how to conduct oral health drives for the athletes across the country. Also, we have taken a decision to keep only life membership of NSDC and not annual membership for dentists, as it is more beneficial for the dentist to remain permanently associated with NSDC. It takes time to reach out to people, bring a change in their attitude towards oral health, encourage them and also form a huge network of sports people and dentists who will together build a better future of athlete’s oral health. Every change need time and patience and we believe in building a community of dentists who can permanently work for sports dentistry!!
