NSDC Conducted Big Dental Screening Event at Army Sports Institute, April 2025

NSDC achieved a milestone by conducting a comprehensive dental screening event at the prestigious Army Sports Institute, one of the topmost sports institutes in India, who train athletes for national and international events on 8th April 2025. 

This impactful initiative featured:

1.Thorough dental screenings to evaluate the oral health of around 200 elite athletes to ensure good general health and peak performance. 

2.Mouthguard Awareness to the athletes to highlight the need for protection during intense training and protection.

3.NSDC engaged in meaningful discussions and collaborations with coaches to promote oral health as part of overall well-being of the athlete.

The response was overwhelming!! Athletes of all ages showed enthusiasm and genuine interest – proving that sports dentistry is slowly but surely gaining the recognition it deserves. This achievement is a proud reminder of NSDC’s dedication to enhancing both health and performance of athletes in the India’s sporting events as well as to make them and at par for international participation. Many such similar activities will be conducted in the future in similar institutes/organizations.
