Amazing Webinars and Online Ambassador Events for Dentists – May & June 2025 – NSDC kickstarted its webinar series with a powerful start – an amazing session on Neuromuscular Dentistry and Sports Dentistry was held on 4th May 2025. It received a great response in which participants explored one of the most intriguing and advanced dimensions of athlete oral care, guided by renowned experts like Dr Jan Chithalen and Dr Rajesh Raveendranathan who are International and National Advisory board members for NSDC respectively. The speakers delivered an engaging and enlightening experience, sharing their deep insights and clinical wisdom and opening new perspectives on how oral and neuromuscular health impact athlete performance. Another amazing session happened on 8th June 2025, wherein the Webinar on Anti-Doping Awareness for Dentists was clubbed together with the 3rd Ambassador program for dentists. Dr Kiran Kulkarni, core team member of ISSEM, Medical Committee Chairman of AIFF and a Certified Dope Control Officer, he gave a detail and comprehensive review of doping and its methods, rules and regulations for anti-doping, how anti-doping tests are conducted and lastly drug prescriptions in dentistry and how sports dentists should be careful while prescribing medicines to the athletes. The participants were delighted to have such a thorough information on a not-much-known subject to them. Also with this Ambassador program and with inclusion of many Advisory members and Associate members in NSDC, we have neared the 70 member mark and we definitely plan to reach a century this year!
